First Gynnie Bee Experience!

What is Gwynnie Bee?

The best way I can explain it is...Netflix for clothing.

Essentially you sign up for a subscription to have a specific amount of clothing articles out at a time (1-10 items) and you return them as you like.

check it out here: Gwynnie Bee

I was skeptical at first. But then I noticed that I could try the first month free!! So I jumped all over that! Get your first month free here: Free Month at Gwynnie Bee

A few notes about Gwynnie Bee:
  1. For women sizes 10-28
  2. Unlimited free shipping--including return shipping!
  3. 30 day free trial period--no reason NOT to try it! :)
  4. Only 2-4 days to receive shipments
  5. You don't have to wash/dry-clean before sending it back
  6. Keep the items as long as you like (while you are a monthly subscriber)
  7. They prepare/send your next shipment as soon as you notify them that you are dropping your current items in the mail!
  8. It is amazing!
  9. They personalize your shipments! (See below!)
  10. These items fit your changing styles!
  11. Designer Brands! (i.e. Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Lucky Brand, Igigi, etc.)
  12. Helpful reviews from other subscribers to help you know how items might fit!

This is what my Gwynnie Bee closet looks like. You can see that I have 32 garments currently in my closet. I also have 10 garments in another section called On Hold. The On Hold section allows me to save items that I like but wouldn't need right now, i.e. sweaters or dresses more appropriate for fall or winter.

You can see that my Gwynnie Bee closet is very colorful. Would you guess that my closet at home is not the same? I have a lot of neutral colors at home so I am trying to branch out and try new styles, colors, and patterns. I love Gwynnie Bee because it allows me to experiment and see what I like without committing to buy something that I may or may not wear.

I opened the box and

I was absolutely amazed at the time and effort put into packaging the items sent to me!

As you can tell, Gwynnie Bee really does care about its subscribers! I received this sweet note welcoming me to the Gwynnie Bee family! Each article of clothing was wrapped individually in tissue paper and each had a tag that explained how to care for the garment. Also attached to the tag was a comment card which allows you to note how the clothing fit and any other notes you might want to share. You can also do this step online. The three items I received were:

1. Geo Printed Tunic by Charter Club
2. Raisa Sweater Top in Cobalt by Igigi
3. Ruffle Cardigan by Rafaella

I loved this Geo Printed Tunic by Charter Club. I may have to track it down and purchase it for my permanent closet! It fit snugly, but it felt flattering. I loved the details on the neckline and sleeves.

This Raisa Sweater Top is amazing! The fit was great and it was very comfortable. I did find it to be much too low cut in the neckline to wear it as it was, so I paired it with a white tank-top with lace trim along the neckline. I will definitely be adding this item back to my closet in the "On Hold" section. It was a bit hot to wear this during the summer but it will be perfect for fall weather.

I adore this Ruffle Cardigan by Rafaella. I will definitely be adding this back to my "On Hold" section as well. It was not too hot to wear; however, I doubt I will get much more wear out of it throughout the summer. I could definitely see myself wearing this in early fall.

Overall I am very pleased with my decision to join Gwynnie Bee! They have an amazing selection! This is such a great concept for me as I am losing weight and between sizes. I certainly think you should check it out!
